GENERAL INFORMATION
Join us for this traditional tale told anew! Our Festival Kids spend a full week learning about singing, acting, choreography, and building and painting sets as they prepare to perform The Princess and the Pea.
Artistic Director Emily Petrenko (formerly Emily Dow) returns for the seventh year to lead the campers through five days of fun and musical adventure, turning even the shyest child into a star. The week culminates with the thrill of a final public performance on Friday afternoon.
The camp runs from Monday, July 12 to Friday, July 16, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for children aged 8 to 13-years-old. No previous experience is necessary. Space is limited. The cost is $150.00 plus a refundable $20.00 deposit for the musical score which you may choose to keep, or return in good condition for $20.00 refund.
The Princess and the Pea is a musical about a king and queen who search for a bride to wed their son, the prince. Just when it seems hopeless, they find a true princess! See what a week can do! Register your child to be a camp participant, or book your tickets to watch the performance!
